Dakota Lithium 48V 15A Lifepo4 Battery Charger has this firehose of power is optimized to charge large 48V (volt) batteries FAST while ensuring a long battery lifespan. Designed for use by our Team Dakota Lithium pro staff who need to charge quickly between tournaments, this 15A (amp) charger will charge a 48V 50Ah battery in 3 hours, and a 100Ah battery bank in <6.5 hours. Dakota Lithium has optimized this charger for use with our lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP). Not recommended for charging lead acid or SLA batteries, it is too powerful. Built in a high tensile aluminum case for rapid cooling, this 48V charger is rated at 15A and is an upgrade for those of you who need to charge fast and play hard. All Dakota Lithium batteries should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger like this one. SLA chargers will reduce the performance and lifespan of the battery.

Included Anderson plug with ring terminals for safe & easy charging. Simply plug the charger into the Anderson plug, and remove when done. Also compatible with all Connect-Ease trolling motor wiring kits (add on).

SPECIFICATIONS

  • FOR 48 VOLT LITHIUM BATTERIES We highly recommend you use a LiFePO4 compatible charger. 48v chargers for lead acid batteries may work, but will decrease performance and lifespan of the battery.
  • CHARGER RATING INPUT 100-240 volts, 50/60HZ.
  • OUTPUT: 57.6 volts, 15.0 amps
  • TERMINAL CONNECTIONS Anderson SB 50 connections make it easy to connect your charger to the battery. Install the ring terminals using the bolts on your terminals. Bolt black to your black terminal. Red to your red terminal. Do not short circuit. Then connect the charger via the Anderson plug when you need to charge. Red light on the charger will turn on when charging. Light turns green when the battery is full.
  • SMART BMS COMMUNICATION Charger will restart or "wake up" a Dakota Lithium BMS that has turned off a battery due to short circuit or excessive amp draw. Simply connect the charger to the battery to initiate a restart.
  • HOW FAST WILL MY BATTERY CHARGE? Charges at a rate of 15 amps. To determine your charging speed take the amp hour rating of your battery and divide by 15. For example, a 48v 50 amp hour battery (Ah) would charge in 3.5 hours.
  • CAN I CHARGE MY BATTERY FASTER? For most applications a charging time of 3 - 10 hours provides the longest lifespan for your battery. But if you have an application where you need rapid charging Dakota Lithium batteries can be safely charged in up to 1 hour (at a rate of 1C). For example, you could use a 15 amp 48V charger with a 15 Ah 48V battery for a 1 hour charge time. Charging at a 1 hour rate does reduce the lifespan over time. In our laboratory testing we found that the longest lifespan for Dakota Lithium batteries was at a charging speed of 0.3C or less (we recommend that the charger amp rating is 1/3 or less of the battery amp hour rating for longest lifespan).
  • WHAT VOLTAGE SHOULD LIFEPO4 BATTERIES BE CHARGED AT? 57.6 volts is recommended for 48v Dakota Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. This charger charges at 57.6 volts.

Everyone I know is seeking the best options to build AI/ML, and GPT solutions into their current offerings. The “ChatGPT for Cybersecurity Cookbook” (Packt, 2024) by Clint Bodungen offers a detailed schematic for building effective ML solutions into existing practices. The book includes ten chapters, each focusing on a different area. The areas demonstrate clear solutions for framing a solution, building effective tools and library interactions, explaining what the solution accomplishes, and offering advanced solutions. Recommend the book for anyone working to improve their ability to use ChatGpt in accelerating cybersecurity solutions. Each section approaches a different solution but the overall format is an outstanding deep dive for each section. The analysis starts with an introduction to the roles and formats. This details how to construct the ChatGPT query with enough guidance to answer the desired question. The next step suggests how the AI/ML tools find the right answers. The last section in every chapter details a “there’s more” showing how to expand the different questions. Chapters include building ChatGPT into Python language and API calls so one can not just launch a query, but have the query launch every time code executes. All the chapters follow the same path but with different answers. This cookbook shows how roles and queries can be modified to deliver what one wants. One of the biggest benefits is seeing role construction from a cybersecurity expert with 20 years of governance experience to a threat analyst who desires to incorporate MITRE’s ATT&CK frameworks. The book demonstrates how to dig into the various sections for success. Some of the later sections demonstrate how one can point ChatGPT at specific data factors, for example, the AI tool can not execute commands to find traffic data but can be pointed to already collected traffic data to summarize answers. One key flaw to remember is ChatGPT does not solve security problems for you. The best solutions point to frameworks and potential answers. The frameworks still need to be executed by a team or individual to create effective software models, it is just a step ahead in the overall process. That same framework really shows up in the threat analysis, training, and incident response sectors. Each solution builds a format to suggest some answers if pointed at the correct data. The answers are likely to be accurate but one still may need to verify against existing data and metrics. The other gap maybe if the ChatGPT tool is not pointed at specific information, answers may be skewed to what it can achieve. Overall, if you want a quick way to incorporate an AI/ML tool, then “ChatGPT for Cybersecurity Cookbook” provides an excellent reference. From the cookbook perspective, one gets all the recipes for various security items, what the finished product should look like, and potential areas to improve in the future. The explanations are all geared to cybersecurity Recommend this as a key reference for anyone working with ChatGPT functions.
