The Festool Tabless Battery Pack BP 18 TBX 4 C‑ASI delivers high output in a compact, lightweight 18V battery designed for demanding cordless work without added bulk. Built around Festool’s tabless cell technology, it improves energy flow through the battery to reduce heat buildup while delivering strong, consistent power under load.
By eliminating traditional cell tabs, internal resistance is reduced, allowing the battery to run cooler during heavy use and recharge faster between cycles. This lower operating temperature helps extend overall battery service life while maintaining reliable performance across a wide range of Festool 18V tools. At just 1.3 pounds (600 g), the TBX 4 balances power and handling, helping reduce fatigue during extended use.
Bluetooth® connectivity integrates the battery into the Festool system, automatically starting a paired CLEANTEC dust extractor when the tool is switched on. When connected to the Festool App, operating data such as charge level, temperature, and charge cycles is available for better power management. When paired with an AIRSTREAM charger, active cooling supports rapid recharge times, keeping tools working with minimal downtime.
