Meer Informatie
De druiven voor deze wijn groeien op een oppervlakte van 10 hectare. De fermentatie vindt plaats in temperatuur gecontroleerde vaten waar de wijn zijn alcoholische en malolactische gisting krijgt. De wijn is gemaakt van 100% chardonnay druiven die op de heuvels groeien in verschillende dorpen rondom de stad Chablis. De maximale hoeveelheid wijn die per hectare geproduceerd mag worden is 40 hl en het minimum alcoholpercentage moet 10% zijn.
In deze Chablis komt een subtiele hint van mineraliteit naar voren door het terroir. Deze wijn wordt gekenmerkt door zijn frisse citrus, aroma’s van honing en gekonfijt fruit.
Heerlijk bij vis, schaaldieren, zeevruchten, wit vlees en gevogelte. Deze wijn kan het beste gedronken worden binnen 3-4 jaar.
Wijnen uit de Bourgogne worden genoemd naar hun regio, dorp of kleine wijngaard waar ze gelegen zijn. In dit geval, geeft de naam Chablis aan dat de wijn van de meest noordelijke wijngaard van de Bourgogne komt, rond het dorp dat Chablis heet.
