Funds donated to the Argonaut Rowing Club in memory of George McCauley will go towards a permanent memorial bench. The Oarsmen of the Year award, awarded annually at the Double Blue Gala will also be renamed the George McCauley Oarsmen of the Year in his memory of striving for excellence. The

The Argonaut Rowing Club is grateful to the McCauley family for trusting the ARC to honour George's legacy. Any remaining funds donated in his memory will support the future purchase of new boats.
